- 2 and ½ to 3 pounds cut up and broiler – fryer chicken pieces.
- ½ tsp fresh salt
- ½ tsp black pepper, grounded freshly
- 1 and ½ cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ground dashing red pepper
- 1 lightly beaten egg
- 1/3 cup of fresh milk
- Canola or vegetable oil
- Gravy cream
- ¼ cup drippings of reserved pan
- Hot milk, 2 and ½ to 3 cups
