My yesterday published recipe got many comments, and I am back with another smoked recipe.
This time, I want to share with you the easy smoking method that I use on my smoker to achieve those smoky, crispy wings.
The smoker gives wings a deep smoke flavor that is amazing paired with a sweet and savory sauce.
Be sure to get your hands on some good smoked turkey wings Recipe for your next party.
But what is the easiest way to cook it? Don’t worry; I have the recipe for you. Before that, let me give you some basic knowledge about the dish.
How do you cook turkey wings?
Turkey wings are one of the most popular smoked dishes.
They can be cooked using a variety of methods, including baking, grilling, smoking and barbecuing.
Cooking time will vary depending on the recipe used and the temperature setting of your smoker, but usually, turkey wings need around 20-25 minutes per side in order to achieve a crispy finish.
I always like to start by preheating my smoker to 250 degrees before adding the turkey wings.
I then smoked them for about an hour and a half until they were crispy on the outside and cooked through.
Sounds complicated? Don’t worry; below I will share the entire recipe. Smile now?
What could you serve smoked turkey wings with?
Yesterday, after writing the smoked pheasant recipe guide, I thought of smoked turkey wings as the perfect partner.
They go really well with a sweet and savory sauce, like my based Mcdonald’s healthy sauce recipe.
If you like smoked wings, you could also experiment with different flavors like sticky BBQ sauce, hot wing sauce or dry rub.
And what about drinks? Well, I have that solution for you as well.
You can serve this dish with our special drink recipe called Blackberry sangria.
Of course, you can also enjoy smoked turkey wings by themselves as an appetizer.
You could serve them with some celery sticks or pita chips for dipping.
However, let’s end this here and start the steps.

Ingredients of Smoked Turkey Wings Recipe
- 4 turkey wings (preferably fresh)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 to 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste. (I usually use around 2 teaspoons kosher salt and 1 teaspoon black pepper)
- Vegetable oil or cooking spray for the smoker grill pan.
- 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
Instructions for Smoked Turkey Wings Recipe
Preheat your smoker grill pan over medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste. This is the rub for the turkey wings.
Add the rest of the ingredients one by one.
Now, Add more salt or pepper if you like your wings extra salty.
Place each turkey wing in the bowl with all of its rub seasoning, making sure to coat them evenly on all sides (you can also use your hands).
You can do this step while you are waiting for your smoker grill pan to heat up.
Place the turkey wings on the smoker grill pan and smoked them for about 20 minutes per side or until they are smoking nicely and cooked through.
Once the turkey wings are done smoking, remove them from the smoker grill pan and let cool slightly before serving.
You can either eat them now or store them in your fridge for later use.
