  • 1 pc large onion peeled and chopped
  • ½ tbsp. pressed garlic
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 pcs raw eggs whole
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp. cooking oil
  • ½ cup chopped fresh thyme leaves and celery
  • 1 cup small cube cut carrots
  • ½ cup green peas
  • 3 pcs chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. black ground pepper
  • ½ cup chopped fresh green coriander leaves


  • Pour water around 3 cups in a skillet heat over medium heat. Add chicken breasts, a pinch of salt, and pepper, boil for 2o minutes until breasts are cooked properly. Unload from the stove after cooking. Take the breasts into a bowl and wait for it to cool. Once it is cool, cut it into small pieces.
  • Confer cooking oil and chopped onion in a saucepan, fry for 2-3 minutes or until it is brown. Add pressed garlic, stir for 1 minute then add cube cut carrots, green peas, thyme leaves, and celery, the rest of the pepper and salt, stir another 2 minutes. After then pour cut cooked chicken pieces, chicken broth, and ½ cup water, seethe for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  • While cooking vegetable and chicken broth mixture, make the dumplings. Take eggs and flour in a bowl, mix with a hand mixer very well. Invest milk, blend for 2-4 minutes until it takes dough shape. Take spoonful dough and drop it into the boiling vegetable and broth mixture. Drop one at a time so that the dumplings do not stick with one another. (You can roll the dough into half-inch thin, cut to square size or any size you prefer then drop it in the mixture).
  • After adding dumplings, cook for 15-20 minutes or until the dumplings are done properly in medium-low heat. If the mixture is too thick, you can add some broth or water.
  • Once the dumplings are done cooking, remove them from heat. Confer chicken and dumplings into a ceramic serving bowl and garnish with chopped green coriander leaves.
