Ingredients of Papas Locas Recipe
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- ½ kilo sweet potato
- 1 cup grated cheese (your favorite)
- 3 slice large of ham finely chopped
- Required amount of salt and pepper
Instructions for Papas Locas Recipe
Heat the oven beforehand to 200 degrees C or 400 degree F. prepare baking sheet with parchment paper of foil paper.
Peel off the potato and cut it into thin size as much as you can. Or you can use a potato slicer to slice potato into thin size.
Put the cut potato in a sieve and wash it with cool water. Drain every drop of water or just dry pat then on tissue paper.
In a medium size mixing bowl pour the washed potato. Then add olive oil, salt, pepper, onion powder and garlic powder. Toss the potato until it is evenly coated.
Arrange the sliced potato on the baking sheet and place it into the preheated oven.
Meanwhile mix grated cheese and chopped ham in a mixing bowl.
After 20 minutes of baking remove baking sheet and sprinkle cheese -ham mix on the top and return it into the oven for another 5 minutes or until cheese is melted properly.
Unload the baking sheet from oven. Keep aside about 2 or 3 minutes to cool it. Then pour the fries in a glass bowl and serve medium hot.
