But, in this article, we have represented a different milk mochi named Taiwanese milk mochi. Taiwanese milk mochi is very hard to find in North America.
But there is no reason to worry because our guidelines help you prepare at home easily.
Milk mochi of Taiwan
There are many flavors and variations in Taiwanese mochi. But they all are common such as soft and chewy texture.
Our personal opinion is that you may use black sesame powder and grounded honey–roasted peanut powder for more flavors.
Many travelers visit Taiwan, especially in street food stalls, to take freshly homemade milk mochi. We shared it to cure all your cravings.
Make the mochi best
Patience is the most important way of making this mochi. It takes much time to be mixed and thick. Don’t rush when it begins solidifying, and it occurs fast. So don’t hope to overlook it.
You may want all flavors to be prepared mainly ahead of time. When your mochi is ready, pour the powder on the top and coat your milk with powder.
When mochi is prepared, cut it into bite sizes with chopsticks. We recommend not adding extra preservatives and eating within one or two days.
