Ingredients of Lebanese chicken liver recipe

  • 500 g drained and cleaned chicken livers.

Aroma blend

  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 fresh rosemary spring
  • 1 geranium leaf

Special spices

  • 1 tbsp. of sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp of kabsa spice mixture
  • ½ tsp of smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp of sweet pepper
  • ¼ tsp of grinded black pepper
  • ½ tsp of grinded nutmeg

Other ingredients

  • 3 tbsp. of vegetable oil
  • ¼ tsp of cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp. of tomato sauce
  • ½ tbsp. of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. of date molasses
  • 4 minced cloves garlic
  • 1 lime juice and juice
  • 4 tbsp. of pomegranate molasses
  • 1 tsp of salt

For serving

  • Buns of sesame sandwich
  • Fried sweet potato
  • Paste of Lebanese garlic
  • Diced red tomato

Instructions for Lebanese chicken liver recipe

Start the oven over medium and heat the frying pan. Add oil when the pan becomes hot. Add all the aroma ingredients with flavors to imping the oil.

Swirl the pan for about 2 minutes so that oil can absorb all flavors. Now remove all the leaves and then sprigs them from your pan to run cooking.

Add these chicken livers to that phase on the pan. Fry until all the sides are browned, not pinker in color. The pink color becoming is not the sign of cooking completely.

Now add all the spices and continue to mix unlit every coated element. Mix tomato sauce well and heat it more 2 minutes.

Add Worcestershire sauce and mix with date molasses until they are combined well. To reduce the liquid, cook more 3 minutes.

Mix zest, lime juice, and garlic with pomegranate molasses till they are combined well. Pour that mixture and dissolve over the chicken livers into the frying pan.

Mix them a little bite for more than 2 minutes. When it begins to boil, reduce the oven’s heat and simmer for only 1 minute. Turn the heat off. Place them aside for making sandwiches.
