How do you serve cooked cold crab?
Many of us include cooked crab in our meals as part of a seafood dish. How do you serve them?
Well, if they are cold, many people place the crab legs on a bed of shredded lettuce or mixed greens dressed with lemon juice and olive oil.
A side sauce is usually not necessary because the fresh flavors from the seafood and vegetables are really enough to bring out all of their delicious complexities.
But, personally, I like to add a bit of sauce to my crab. Some people might think that adding too much sauce makes the seafood taste salty, but I disagree.
My theory is that if you season your seafood properly and give it some time in the heat, then it will naturally have a slightly salty flavor which can be enhanced by adding additional seasonings like soy sauce or garlic powder.
Do not forget about crab sauce when you’re cooking seafood. It’s a delicious and versatile seasoning that can be used in many different ways.
Whether you serve it as a dipping sauce for your seafood or add some to your salad for extra flavor and richness, crab sauce will definitely make your meal memorable.
What is crab sauce made of?
Let me assume that you never realized crab sauce was made of anything but seafood until now.
Crab sauce is actually a mixture of marjoram, kosher or spices, and/or flavorings like lemon juice and garlic.
The most popular ingredients are usually butter and eggs, although there are many variations in this basic recipe.
Though our special juicy crab sauce has many different ingredients specifically for crab and seafood, we like to keep things simple.
It’s a great way to bring out all the flavors in our seafood while also providing some vitamins and antioxidants. So, are you ready to get into it?

Pro Tips to make the recipe tastier:
1) Be careful while adding bay mix as it can overpower the crab flavor
2) If you don’t have onion and garlic powder, you can substitute 1 teaspoon of garlic powder or 2 teaspoons of onion flakes.
3) Use a large saucepan so that the butter and garlic don’t burn
4) Add chicken broth sparingly so as not to over-simmer and reduce flavor. You want it to simmer but not boil.
Health benefits of crab sauce
Without sauce, I can hardly admit that crab is tasty. But once sauce comes into the picture, I’m all in.
Crab sauce contains high levels of both antioxidants and nutrients like selenium and vitamin.
Selenium helps protect cells against many diseases, while vitamin B12 supports nerve function and energy production. In addition to being good for you, crab sauce is also delicious.
I must also admit that sauces can significantly increase calorie intake. So make sure not to overindulge and enjoy this delicious crab sauce in moderation.
