  • 3 cups of uncooked white dry hominy
  • 1 cup fresh dry red beans
  • 1/2 cup fresh lima beans
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped

  • 250 grams of blood sausage sliced
  • 500 grams of fresh tuna or meat (Cooked)
  • 1 cabbage (Chopped)
  • 1 sweet potato (Cut into chunks)
  • 1 lb plantain
  • 1 cup squash cubed
  • 2 fresh bay leaves
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil (divided)
  • 1 can dice tomatoes with their juice (undrained)
  • 1 lb yam
  • 2 lb chorizo sausage (optional)

We will first soak the lima beans, red beans, and hominy in water overnight.
